Students must check-in at the front office if they arrive at school after 8:15am. They are considered tardy to 1st period if they arrive within the first 10 minutes of class starting. Students that arrive after that time are considered absent for the whole period. Students may also be marked tardy if they arrive late to any of their classes throughout the school day.
Excessive tardies may impact the student's ability to participate in school dances and/or other student activities.
Excessive tardies may result in disciplinary action such as lunch detention and in school-suspension.
SRMS does not excuse tardies due to traffic, trains, missed bus, or car problems.
