In Liberty Hill, we believe in providing opportunities for teachers to attend professional learning during the summer with the purpose of continual growth and improvement.  In the 2024-2025 approved academic calendar, there is one flex day offered to all teachers (formerly known as a Comp Day). Approved flex hours allow for the employee to exchange the one Flex Day for May 29, 2025.  

Flex Day Criteria: 

• Training must be identified, endorsed, and approved by the appropriate campus administrator to qualify for flex hours.

• Approval must be obtained prior to participating in the training.

• The training must take place on a non-contract day during the summer and the teacher may not receive pay for the training. 

• Professional Learning flex hours may be accumulated from May 29, 2024 - August 2, 2024.
