Date: January 2020, Senior year of high school
The high school wanted to make learning an easier experience for students, so they implemented FAST, Flyer Academic Support Time. It would be like an eighth hour in the day, where students could go back to teachers classes that they needed help from. Inevitably, the school asked if I would be willing to make a standalone scheduling systems so that attendance could still be taken, even though students would be in a different class every day (This is a similar story to what happened with Bill Gates, except my system is much less complex, although still pretty cool). The systems allows for teachers to lock in students who are struggling, and for the rest of the students who have not been locked in, they are allowed to sign up themselves to get the help they need. This has been one of my largest projects so far, and the amount of functionality included can not be easily described in this short summary. Below are some pictures of what the students would see on the FAST system.
All of their form data was sent to attendance spreadsheets for teachers. This was a massive project, and only a small glimpse of what this project does. The school actually paid me for my time developing this, which was pretty awesome!
