PCB Designs

Date: Senior Year of College (2023 - 2024)

At MSOE, all students complete a year of "senior design", sometimes called senior capstone at other colleges.

For our senior design project, I learned how to make PCB's. I have always been interested in making PCB's, so it was a lot of fun getting to make some for this project! Our project was a hardware in the loop (HIL) tester

I did some of the hardware prototypes on small PCB's

In order of least complex to most complex:

Jumper Board

Pull-up resistor board (to simulate low side switching PWM detection)

Relay calibration board (shorts inputs to constant 24V rail to calibrate ADC's before tests)

Schmitt trigger board using op-amp

I2C Digital pot, with short and open circuit functions from SSR's
