1. Positive Notes

2. Present your paper bag! (8:30-8:45)

3. Read aloud example: The Bear Ate Your Sandwich (8:45-9:00)

4. Take turns in your small groups reading your stories! Then, brainstorm ways that you could implement one of the standards at your table.  (9:00-9:40)

5. Look through read aloud options and choose a date and title (If you'd like to pick one, put your name on it with a sticky note.) (9:40-10:00)

6. Closure: Make sure you have at least selected a date, even if you don't know for sure which book you want. 

*You are in charge of locating the book you want to read. As a teacher, you will be responsible for finding your own materials. If you need help, I can help you, but you are the responsible individual for your read aloud date. 

Homework: Make sure you're ready to begin read alouds!
