Agenda: 

1. Independent reading time (10-15 minutes) 

2. Review Literary Device Section 1 quiz answers (5 minutes) 

3. Journal entry: tone game!  (10-15 minutes) 

   • At your table, choose 6 tone cards from the bowl! 

   • As a group, choose a TONE WORD that best matches the scenario you chose. 

   • For your journal entry, write the SCENARIO and the TONE for each card. You should have a total of 6 bullet points for your entry. 

4. Section 2 Literary Devices (20 minutes) 

   • Complete the guided notes for a classwork grade

5. Bio Poem Sharing Time 

   • Choose ONE line of your poem to share with your table

   • You have the remaining time today to COMPLETE your bio poem and REFLECTION. If you do not finish, this is homework and is due at the start of class on Monday. 

   • If you are DONE with your Bio Poem, please play the Section 2 Blooket and let me know your score at the end. 

6. HONOR CODE! (Last 10 minutes of class)
