This landmark absurdist masterpiece returns in Donald Watson’s translation. First staged in 1963 starring Alec Guinness and later revived to great acclaim on Broadway in 2009, the play unfolds in the decaying throne room of an unnamed kingdom where King Bérenger I has only the length of the performance left to live.

A full-scale musical comes to the tiny Mill Theatre with Sunday in the Park with George, the 1984 Broadway landmark featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and a book by James Lapine. Inspired by Georges Seurat and his monumental painting A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte (1884–1886), the musical brings to life the days leading up to the completion of that masterpiece.
