Social Actions

The Social Actions Committee shall be a committee with a focus upon promoting student activism at LHS through creating opportunities for student involvement, or hosting events encouraging students to discuss issues and debate on matters of social opinion. The committee may also alternatively or in conjunction with such, focus upon directly advancing social justice within the school or the Lexington community.  The duties of the committee are as follows:

1. Hosting of events and occasions in order to advocate for the liberties of students.

2. Enacting programs for creating greater social justice within the school system and environment. 

3. Partnering with organizations, or groups in order to encourage constructive debate among students about social issues.

The 2025-2026 Social Actions Committee is led by Co-heads Abhaya Kuchibhotla and Niva Pandey.
