The Policy Committee shall be a committee with a focus upon the drafting of legislation in accordance with the observed needs of the school. The responsibilities of observing and drafting actual Senatorial policy will be an express duty of the Policy Committee, with the committee reserving the right to draft and create new policy for the Senate at any time. The duties of the committee are as follows:
Develop new business (policy ideas) based on input from homeroom visits and other forms of student feedback.
Draft bills to address needs raised by new business.

The Policy committee’s primary goal is to create legislation in accordance with the needs of the school and student body.
This year, we hope to regularly send out monthly newsletters and to pass policies that can create a better learning environment for all students at LHS.
