The Senate also has and has had multiple other Ad-Hoc committees, created via legislative action rather than Constitutional Amendment, reflecting the response of the Senate to relevant issues of the time.

Each committee within the Senate focuses upon aspects of student life, whether academic, cultural, social, or otherwise. Through a base focus, each of these committees expands a series of issues and establishes specific plans of action.
