Wetland Habitat Field Trip

This trip supports the grade 3 life science unit.  Students will visit a local wetland (Lexington's Old Reservoir) and explore the shoreline to identify different habitats, compare the environmental factors of each, and the diversity of plant and animal life found there.  Students will collect and observe animals and identify ways in which their bodies and behaviors enable them to grow and survive in their habitat.
