Celebrate Earth Day

On Earth day we learn about how we take care of our planet. It is a time to celebrate all who came before and all who today, speak up for nature. Each year on April 22, people around the world celebrate Earth Day to protect our planet from things like pollution,  deforestation, and climate change

2023 EARTH WEEK FAMILY EVENTS

April 22 @12pm: Earth Day at Charles Navy yard - Fun, Refreshments, Games, Learning and Play Activities for all ages !

April 28 - May 1:  Boston City Nature Challenge

Join the international effort to find and document plants and wildlife in cities across the globe!  Make your observations from April 29 - May 1. Join a project either in the Boston area or here in Lexington in your school's backyard, in one of Lexington's conservation areas or in your own neighborhood big backyard.  

If you haven’t joined us before, it’s simple, it’s fun, and it contributes to scientific data helping to better understand our world and our non-human neighbors.
