When you visit Te Takere this week, before or after your visit walk along Oxford Street.
On the path outside some of the shops are some silver plates with famous names from Levin & Horowhenua.
Someone from your class make a note of the name and location of each plate.
Add the names as Markers in the "MyMap"
Pick a famous person from Heritage Horowhenua Walk of Fame Site and make a poster about them.
Why are they famous?

Add one marker each to the Google MyMap
Click the map image
Log in to Google-MyMap using your school gmail account
Add a marker to a location in the map. (start with street names)
Search where the name comes from.
Add this to the "description" section in the marker.
Make a COPY of the slides above.
