Now
Choose an interesting picture and write a story - find pictures here.
Look at each of your sentences carefully and add.
in the Who, What, When, Where and Why.
Remember to add as many describing words (Adjectives) as you can!
A Haiku poem uses syllables in 3 phrases.
It often has a theme to it, with a picture attached.
Originally, they come from Japan.
The pattern is
5 syllables in the first line
7 syllables in the second line
5 syllables in the third line
YOUR TASK:
Brainstorm words around Autumn in your grey book on the blank page
Write 2 Haiku poems using these words on the lined page

Write what each of the animals are saying to each other.
Make sure to include "Speech Marks" around every sentence.
Use ? for questions and ! if one of the animals is talking loudly or giving instructions

Get two lunch forks
Find fabric, googly eyes, felts, feathers (anything to make your two fork characters extra special).
Using the template (see your teacher(Create a conversation in your book for what the characters might say (like play-writing)
TASK PART 2: CHIT CHAT!
After you have created their dialogue, partner up with someone else.
Nothing needs to be written down. For example; you can use Flipgrid to record a short play about them.
REMEMBER:
YOUR CHARACTERS DO NOT NEED TO BE HUMANS!
THE CONVERSATION MUST BE SCHOOL APPROPRIATE

Choose 4 things
You could choose everyday objects, food, animals, your favourite game characters, movie characters, real people.
Find an interesting picture for each, to include on page 1
Create 5 clues describing your chosen pictures
Type your clues into the boxes on page 3
Describe what your object looks, sounds, moves like, what it does, what it might be used for, who might use or be around it
Share with your teacher to print out.
Play the game with a group. - Read out the clues on the back of your card. How many mystery cards can you guess? How many of your cards can you trick others with?
