One of the reasons that people might move to or from the country of Turkey is because they are looking for work or schooling. Another reason which is somewhat linked to schooling is when people move to Istanbul, which has pretty good schools. Refugees might come to Turkey if their homelands are at war or are unsafe. For example, Syria and Iraq who are at war might have lots of refugees from there going to Turkey. Lots of people might move to Istanbul for its schooling, but people also move away from Istanbul because of how polluted and condensed and crowded the city is.
Turkish people mostly like meat, usually grilled, or in a kebab, one of the main Turkish sweets is baklava, it’s a syrupy nutty pastry and it’s delicious. A common drink is the strong Turkish coffee. You make it by grinding up the coffee beans as finely as possible, until it's more like a powder, then put it into a pot of water then (without taking the bean powder out) boil it on the stove for awhile, when you pour it into your cup (usually quite small) there will still be coffee grounds at the bottom of your drink. I mean it might be delicious.
