In the country of Turkey, one of the famous human made sights is the Blue Mosque. Another noticeable landmark of Turkey that I personally find quite interesting is Pamukkale because even with its snow white color it's actually a hot spring. Legend says that it’s just cotton left out to dry by giants, but actually it's just limestone naturally eroded into that shape. (Don't swim in hot springs that seem too hot and are heated by the lava under the earth!)

In the country of Turkey there are many famous landmarks but some of the most famous ones in rank order are:
#1 Hagia Sophia Museum: it is well known because of how it was the tallest building back in the day it was built, and its domed roof changed the history of architecture,
#2 The Blue Mosque: It is mostly famous because of its spiritual connections to the Muslim religion (mostly Sunni) of Turkey.
#3 Topkapi Palace Museum: it was the headquarters of the Ottoman sultans. It finished construction in 1465,
#4 Pamukkale: other than what we have mentioned previously about this site there is meager amounts of wildlife on this site but tadpoles can be found in some of the pools.
#5 The Grand Bazaar: which is found in Istanbul. It's a place where you go shopping. It is the oldest and largest shopping center in the world. Today it has over 3,600 shops but during the reign of the ottoman empire it had many many more.
