Bodies of Water Bordering the Country of Turkey
One of the important bodies of water in the country of Turkey is the Black Sea. It is pretty big and it's located to the North of Turkey. In fact, the Black Sea circulates around the entire northern border of Turkey. There is also the Mediterranean Sea, which is South of the country of Turkey; it takes up about half of their southern border. The country of Turkey is very mountainous; the Ægean coast is the least mountainous place in Turkey. The Ægean sea is west of Turkey and takes up most of its western border.
The country of Turkey is squished in between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean Sea. With the Mediterranean in the south of Turkey and the Black Sea north of Turkey, it shares borders with Syria, Iraq, Iran, Armenia, Georgia, Bulgaria, and Greece. It is in between two continents: Asia, and Europe. It is also east of the Ægean Sea.
Turkey has an area of 302,535 mi², Turkey is approximately one tenth of the size of the United States and Turkey is just a little larger than Texas.
