Puffins have had a busy couple of weeks. In Maths the children have created their own surveys and presented the data they collected in a bar chart. After half term we will be moving onto Fractions so lots of TTRS practice is going to be essential! In our Financial Education lessons this half term we have been learning about advertising and understanding what makes a deal a bargain! We have also reminded ourselves of the names of the different currencies of the world by playing Blooket. The children have enjoyed reading The Wild Robot and have written a persuasive letter to the animals who live on the island. We have been working with Jayne from Grow, Cook, Enjoy recently to plant some more seeds and look at the progress of our other plants. The children are looking forward to harvesting their produce after half term and using it to make a pizza! We have a couple of trips coming up next month so please check Arbor for the details.
I hope you have a restful half term break.
Mrs Legg
