We are incredibly proud of the resilience and positive attitude the children have displayed during the recent practice SATs. They approached each task with determination and a willingness to learn, demonstrating a fantastic work ethic. We have been thoroughly impressed with their commitment and effort.
Beyond the assessments, we have continued to explore the fascinating topic of energy sources. It was wonderful to witness their enthusiasm as they created persuasive videos advocating for their chosen energy solutions for an urban planner. Remarkably, and without prompting, every child selected a renewable energy source, showcasing their thoughtful consideration for the future of our planet. Their insightful arguments and creative presentations were truly inspiring. Ms Clemson was particularly happy, when one group actually plugged her Father and Brother’s solar energy company!
In English, the children have been crafting captivating adventure stories, demonstrating their growing ability to build suspense and develop engaging narratives. Their imaginative writing is a testament to their developing skills. In mathematics, they have continued their exploration of shapes, further enhancing their understanding of geometry.
The children have been a delight to teach this term, and we are continually impressed by their curiosity and engagement: they had a super time at St Andrew's science labs. Their positive spirit and collaborative approach have made learning a truly enjoyable experience.
We are all now looking forward to a well-deserved Easter break. We hope you and your families have a relaxing and enjoyable time.
Thank you for your continued support.
With best wishes,
Ms MacFarlane, Ms Clemson and Mrs Povey
