In Maths, we have been recapping our four operations learning: addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. In Writing, we have been looking at the features of a recipe and thinking about what ingredients we can use in our marvellous potion. We then wrote our own recipes remembering to use expanded noun phrases to add detail to our instructions. In Science, we have been learning about different life cycles. We looked at human and animal life cycles and thought carefully about what happens at each stage of a life cycle. In Geography, we used Google Maps to locate different oceans and seas around the world. As part of our previous History learning, we went on our trip to the Tower of London. We had a fantastic day walking the walls of the tower and exploring the White tower. Dolphins also enjoyed their sponsored skipping session. This half term in PE, we are learning different Cricket skills. This week we focused on throwing and catching. 

Our topic is: 'What is it like to live by the coast?'

Maths: In Maths, we will be completing revision on our year 2 learning.

Writing: In Writing, we will be writing a diary entry based on the book George’s Marvellous Medicine. 

Science: In Science, we will be learning about the life cycle of a human and comparing the growth of a human at different ages.

Geography: In Geography, we will be learning about the features of a coastline.

DT: In DT, we will be creating our monsters using different levers.
