This week our story has been 'Astro Girl' by Ken Wilson-Max. We started off the week completing independent writing where we wrote speech bubbles for what each character would be saying in the story. We have also enjoyed learning about space and taking part in space related activities. The children have been busy designing and writing cards and making gifts for our Dads and special people to celebrate Father's Day. We have worked hard learning how to subtract using a number line and the children grasped the concept very quickly. We finished off our week with a Father's Day Afternoon of Fun where we invited Dad's, Grandad's or other special members of our family in to play with us on the field! We even decorated some biscuits for us and our special adult!
