Year 5 have had a very busy two weeks. From Sports Day to Class Assemblies and Maths Week.
The children have worked exceptionally hard all week in their learning. In Maths, they finished their MNP! books and now they are reviewing some areas they learned at the beginning of the year. In Humanities, the children continued their learning about the rainforest with a focus on deforestation ; the children were shocked to hear some devastating facts and were determined to do something about it. In Science, the class learned about the term Life Expectancy and we looked at what factors have changed the life expectancy of people over the years- the children concluded that better access to medicine, information about healthy diets and fitness and technology greater increases your chances of living longer.
