Y3 had an amazing week of sports last week. They all worked together to win as many points for their teams as possible, but the most important thing is how much fun we had!
Children enjoyed our Maths week. They had a go at creating tessellation pictures and tried to work out how many triangles there were in the shape. They have also played lots and lots on TTRS, collecting points for the school in the London Rocks and LEO competitions. What a week of fun maths we've had!
In English, we have been looking at the features of a diary entry and we have created our success criteria before writing a diary from the point of view of Hogarth in Iron Man. In Maths we have learned to calculate the volume of different containers and we have used all the skills learned so far to solve 2-step problems involving the four operations. In Humanities we have learned interesting facts about Hampton Court using Nearpod to collaborate with our ideas.
