Whether at school, or at Kingswood, Year 5 have enjoyed a great week. Our brave Year 5 adventurers threw themselves into a fantastic range of activities at Kingswood. First off, we had a fantastic time at The Big Sheep! From enjoying the thrills of the demon drop slides to trying out the funfair rides, and of course, meeting lots of adorable animals, it was a wonderful way to begin our trip. Down by the coast, the excitement continued with surfing and coasteering. Everyone showed amazing resilience and came out with huge smiles. The fun on the water didn't stop there! Year 5 also took to kayaks and paddle boards, gliding across the calm lake and working together as a team. It was brilliant to see everyone supporting each other and enjoying the beautiful scenery. Many faced their fears on the high ropes course too, navigating wobbly bridges and shaky wooden posts. The adventure wasn't just about adrenaline-pumping activities. We also used our team-building skills - making shelters, leading our partners in nightline and finding clues in a scavenger hunt. The behaviour of all the Year 5 children was exemplary throughout the entire trip. They were respectful, enthusiastic, and fantastic ambassadors for our school.
Back at school, the children have been very creative, making Easter cards, painting. and designingeir own board games. They have also enjoyed the wonders of Now Press Play.
