This week in Reception, we've been busy exploring the fascinating world of non-fiction books! We became creature experts, delving into books about all sorts of animals and sharing the amazing facts we discovered. It was lovely to see the children so engaged, sharing books and their newfound knowledge with each other. In Maths, we've been mastering odd and even numbers, becoming super spotters for these number patterns up to 10. Our Science lessons took us on a journey to understand what it means to be living, and we had fun sorting objects into 'living' and 'non-living' categories. We also wrapped up our 'Healthy Me' topic by focusing on the importance of keeping our hands, bodies, and teeth sparkling clean. Finally, the children proudly showcased their sewing skills, finishing their beautiful bookmarks and reflecting on their creations. What a busy and brilliant end of the Spring term it's been in Reception!
