What I'm Listening To
Right now, I am really into the band Vulfpeck. This concert from Madison Square Garden in New York City is awesome. Live music is always the best!
Tuba Skinny is a New Orleans band that plays traditional dixieland music. Super fun!
Omar Thomas is a great composer that a friend of mine told me about in early May. His music is incredible!
The Dip is a band from Seattle that I really like. A friend of mine from college is the bari sax player. You can also find them on Spotify.

Chris Merz is Director of Jazz Studies at the University of Northern Iowa. This is a band he formed to play happy music. It includes Dr. Michael Conrad on piano, Dave Tiede on drums, and Drew Morton on bass. This is from a live radio show set they did in Cedar Rapids.
