For Thursday of this week (4/5), review your worksheet and notes about sliding filament theory. Read section 7-3 pp 197-200. Be ready to answer questions.

Fri, Feb 3:
1) Skeletal vocab: record the morpheme and its meaning for the following: (we started in class)
acetabulum, amphi, arthros, circum, clavius, corona, cranio, dens, infra, lacrimae, malleolus, meniscus, osteon, planta, septum, stylos, supra, sutura
2) Label the handouts of the axial skeleton and skull (started in class.)
3) Memorize the names of these bones. Be able to identify the meaning of the morphemes. Quiz Tuesday!
Feb 1: Read pages 150-153. Answer the checkpoints. Be ready to name and identify surface features on a skeleton.
Jan 30: read pages 142-150. Do the Checkpoints. Make a note of new vocabulary (definitions, word roots). Be able to explain how a bone develops from babyhood to adulthood.
Jan 26: read Chapter 1. Answer the Checkpoints on separate paper. We will work on vocabulary in class.
