Mary Henrietta Kingsley

Mary Henrietta Kingsley was a Victorian pioneer and explorer who set out alone to explore West Africa to pursue her anthropological interests. In her written works she describes her unaccompanied treks through dangerous jungles, encounters with deadly animals and fascination with the African culture, language and botany.

Head of College - Mr Silvester

Mr Silvester is one of our Vice Principal's and is the Head of Kingsley College. Mr Silvester is a passionate Historian and will oversee all of the Kingsley subjects.

Mr Silvester has a love of sport and has a keen interest in cycling and thoroughly enjoys exploring the Kent countryside on his bike in his spare time.



Kingsley College Uniform

The Kingsley College uniform is burgundy. The uniform will be the same across all Colleges except for the burgundy founders tie and the burgundy braided blazer.
