Hello! I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Lehigh University. I work with the wonderful CALiCo team to study children's and adolescents socio-emotional adjustment and competence. Please reach out to me for questions about our research and potential research assistant opportunities in our lab.
When I am not working, I cook, spend time with my family, read science fiction, and make stained glass.
My name is Chelsea and I am a Psychology Graduate Student. I am currently working with my advisor Dr. Danming An on research involving factors that impact the socioemotional development and well-being of children and adolescents. I am also interested in looking at identity development of children and adolescents and how both personal factors, such as mental health, and contextual factors such as parent and peer relationships, influence it. My goals are to complete my PhD program in Psychology, and to pursue a career in teaching and research at the university level.
My name is Allyson, and as a psychology major with a multicultural background (Ghanaian, raised in Kenya and Eswatini), I'm particularly interested in how early experiences shape children's social development. This curiosity is what drew me to this research project. In my free time, I enjoy crocheting, reading fiction, and watching football (soccer).
Hi! I am a third-year Psychology major and International Relations minor working in Prof. Danming An’s lab over the summer. I’m very interested in understanding how childhood experiences/ stressors shape trauma response as well as socioemotional development.
I love reading, dancing, theatre, and space stuff ✨
