Cognition, Affect, Life experience, & Competence (CALiCo) lab

We are a research group in the Department of Psychology at Lehigh University who study children's and adolescents' social and emotional adjustment in the contexts of families, communities, cultural backgrounds, and cognitive characteristics (both children/adolescents' own cognition and the cognition of people in their lives). We are interested in understanding how individual-level and contextual-level factors influence children/adolescents' mental health and their success in the social world. We focus on children and adolescents in the United States as well as in international communities.
