Summer STEM Camp

Grades 6-8

(Students currently enrolled in 6th-7th-8th grade during the 23-24 school year) 

In this 10 day camp experience middle school students will be involved in STEM-related research activities conducted by teachers from Lee County. The camp involves hands-on science work in school science labs as well as field research and activities on a school campus.   

 Applications must be received by Friday, May 17, 2024. Final confirmation of camp enrollment will be emailed by Friday, May 31, 2024.


*Please note: Families interested in participating in the STEM camps are responsible for transportation to and from the camp location. 


Enrollment is limited to fifty (50) participants per camp location.

8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.


*Students should not arrive before 7:45 a.m. 

There is no adult supervision before this time and safety is our number one priority!

How do I sign up my child for this camp? 

Students interested in attending the camp need to fill out the the Summer STEM Camp Application linked above.  

Registered students will receive additional information by May 31st. 


Is transportation provided? 

Transportation is NOT provided for this summer camp. Please drop off your child by 8:00 a.m. and pick up by 3:00 p.m. 


Is food provided? 

Breakfast and lunch will be provided by the school site.  


What is the attendance policy for summer school? 

Daily attendance is extremely important in order to ensure student success. 


How do I know what school my child is attending for summer school? 

Summer school location will be based on STEM camp chosen by families (see above).
