This camp offers our current grade 2 students going into third grade an opportunity to strengthen their reading skills. 

This opportunity arms selected parents/students with training and resources to use with their child over the summer to become a stronger reader and get a head start on 3rd grade. Families will receive support from district assistant principals over the summer.

Eligibility is based on student/family invite to the launch training on May 11 at the District Office.   

Eligible students were sent an invitation via School Messenger from current school. 

Registered students will receive additional information at the May 11 family day. 

Summer study in students' homes with Zoom and email support from district administrators.

What is the "attendance" policy for this summer opportunity? 

There will be opportunities for virtual weekly check-ins with a designated school district employee.

Can I sign my 2nd grade student up for this learning opportunity? 

Only invited students and their families will be participating in the camp.
