Expanded Virtual Learning Summer Program

K-8

We continue to work to provide learning opportunities for our students. During the summer, we know that many students have the potential to regress academically; therefore, we are excited to offer an Expanded Virtual Learning Summer Program to all of our students who are currently in grades K-8. In an effort to continue student learning while minimally impacting family time, we will only be utilizing the i-Ready Reading and Math Program.

Students who choose to participate in the summer program will use their individualized learning path to meet their specific academic needs, which will be determined by the diagnostic assessment they completed during the regular school year. We strongly encourage students to work 45 minutes each week in reading and in math. These paths are based on each student’s independent reading and math levels to bridge gaps while working at a level that they are able to be successful completing without assistance from others.

These paths can be worked on any day and any time.

There are no classrooms or teachers for this summer offering; however, the students will be monitored at the district level. Students will be provided a chromebook checked out in their name for the summer. Chromebooks must be kept until August 10th, the first day of the 24-25 school year.

This must be completed by May 17th to opt in your child(ren).
