Since the ELA class was reading the book Hatchet for the stem challenge, Math was able to tie in to the IDU by completing a Performance Task using the concepts/standards from our Statistics Unit that we just finished to complete a class survey project.
Performance Task: Complete a class survey project that includes: collecting, organizing, displaying and summarizing the data using one of the 3 graphs we studied this year.
Answer survey questions (information gathered through google forms)
Choose one survey - review the results and calculate Mean, Median, Mode and Range of the data
Organize and graph on line/dot plot, histogram or box plot
Summarize data using TEEC format
