About Mr. Weber

Hi! Nice to Meet you!

My name is James Weber and I am one of the music teachers for the Lebanon Township School District! As an alumni of this great school district, I am beyond grateful and excited to be back here, where I am passing on the values, lessons, and passions of music just as my music teachers had.

After leaving the Lebanon Township School District, I attended West Chester University of Pennsylvania to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Music Education. While there, I continued my study of alto saxophone in both a jazz and classical setting, involved myself in leadership roles in and out of the music environment, and developed a deep appreciation and understanding on how to teach music to a new generation. I recently graduated in May of 2021 Summa Cum Laude with a distinction from the university's Honors College.

I did not limit my teaching experiences to the lecture hall though: I also spent a year teaching private and group lessons for Valotta Studios in Chester Springs, PA. While there, I became more confident in my teaching practices for band instruments, how to write dynamic lessons and curriculum for groups of varying abilities and sizes, and generally boosted my adoration for teaching music!

Besides music and teaching, my interests include cooking for family and my significant other, camping/hiking, and finding new ways to spoil my cats Jerry and Willow.

If you want to know more about me, be sure to send me an email or phone call at the contact information listed below! More importantly, please say "hi" if you see me passing by: I'll always take a minute to talk about music, the program, your student, or anything else :)
