Welcome to 6th Grade Guitar Class!

6th grade guitar class serves as a continuation from their experience in 5th grade: we continue to refine our guitar performance skills while connecting our understanding of guitar tablature with standard music notation. Additionally, they will utilize the guitar and their understanding of musical concepts from previous years to write and improvise simple songs for performance. Students will also gain a greater understanding of the guitar's cultural impact on music all the way from the Renaissance era to modern day.
