8th Grade

Welcome to 8th Grade Band!

8th grade band at Woodglen Middle School is a great time for students to continue developing skills and techniques for musical performance on their instrument of choice. Additionally, students continue developing and using successful practice habits that furthers their development into not only a functioning member of the band, but an independent musician capable of self-discovery in music. 8th grade musicians also learn to lead through music, as they assist each other during sectional rehearsals and independent practice time.
