LCS PD Opportunities

• Google Tools - If you look on the left side of the site and access the table of contents, you can learn more about every tool in the Google Workspace suite, as well as find activities to use with your students in order to help them become proficient with each tool. Learn how to use Sites, Slides, Docs, Forms, Classroom, Keep and more.

• District Provided Apps and Programs - Look at the menu on the left side to find information about all of the apps and programs that have been provided for you by the district. Some of the programs are specific to school, so check the top of each page to see if the tool is available to you. 

  • • • Screencastify - The ability to create our own videos has been a game changer. Explore this section to learn how to make your own videos and gifs. You will also learn about two special features of Screencastify that makes using videos with your students easier; Screencastify Interactive and Screencastify Submit.

      • Edpuzzle - Edpuzzle is a program that lets us take teaching and learning videos and edit them to make them work for us by adding questions, notes, and voice overs. Edpuzzle has a lot of slick features that force your students to actually engage with your videos!

      • BrainPOP - BrainPOP has videos and activities for just about every subject area at just about every grade. 

      • DreamBox

• INFOhio - The state of Ohio provides high quality digital resources for all student and educator residents of the state. You will find research databases, online encyclopedias, digital books like BookFlix, and robust teaching and learning materials in INFOhio. 

• Teaching Tools- This category is full of PD opportunities where you will learn how to get creative with the tools we have to to empower, engage, and innovate in your classroom.

• Tech Tuesday - All the nuts and bolts you need to know about the technology tools we use every day.
