Ways to use Google Keep with Students
Google Keep is such a helpful organizational tool for students (and teachers). The ability to make notes that follow you everywhere you go is an awesome way to get on top of school work and other tasks. Students can also use Google Keep as a research tool, especially since the Save to Keep extension helps them create a body of research that is linked to original sources for easier works cited creation. There are a lot of creative ways that Keep can be used as well. See below for more ideas.
Teachers can use Google Keep to:
Create checklists
Keep repeated grading comments in an accessible location
Use the "Grab Image Text" tool to take print sources and make them editable by students
Set reminders based on time or location
Share planning notes with collaborators
Save content from the web for later review
Organize your thoughts and contents when you begin lesson or unit planning
Students can use Google Keep to:
Annotate Text - They can even take a picture of the text (or you can) and then annotate using the app.
Gather research materials and sources in one place that is then accessible in docs or slides
Manage class projects and share notes and expectations with other students or teachers
Track learning goals
