The power of Google Classroom is in the workflow features. Not only are you sharing content and work in a way that makes it accessible for all students, you are also able to monitor student understanding as they are working. When you create an assignment in GC, you do not have to wait until the student turns in the finished product because you can see what students are working on throughout the entire assignment.
In addition, you can provide the student with all of the resources they need in one place. When you attach all of the content to the assignment (videos, web resources, materials you created, textbook links), the students know exactly where to look to get the content they need. Students struggling with organization will also find some built in support since due dates are automatically placed on their Google calendars, and all work is located in one place.
