What high level takeaways can we take back and share with our sites, teams, community?
We started by listening to and empathizing, reviewed data from students, families, certificated and classified staff
We brainstormed whole learner outcomes, learning experiences and enabling conditions
We talked about the kinds of outcomes we want for kids, such as cultivating creative thinkers, problem solvers, collaborators, global citizens and self advocates.
We drafted a new version of the LESD Mission, Vision and Values, to promote coherence
The framework will help us use our energy toward common outcomes.
The strategic plan helps set meaningful goals and reflect on progress.

We have very similar aspirations for our students and are defining the Lamont Framework
The team is coming together to work collaboratively, across schools, to move the district forward
Creating shared experiences and opportunities
Values can serve as a great resource to share with our grade levels to inform how we collaborate

Time to work closely with a small team is very impactful
Spending time focusing on learners is so important, spans grade levels, and program
Time spent in reflection improves our collective effort

We are making it more and more clear to our students what want for them as a student, community member, citizen
Creating clear expectations and leveraging community voice and feedback
We are working hard to make sure that our mission vision, values and learning models are effective and clear to everyone in our community
Continuing to communicate and share this work is going to grow our collective efficacy and capacity

What high level takeaways can we take back and share with our sites, teams, community?
This work is becoming more solidified which will inform our priorities and our collective work
We built consensus to finalize the learner profile
The learning model experiences are aspirational and put students more in the driver’s seat, valuing their backgrounds and needs
Student engagement (both attendance and actively participating) is an area of opportunity we want to address
We are leveraging the data we have captured to include all educational partners needs and feedback
Parents have a strong, authentic belief in schools and want to be included and leveraged in their child’s education
