Show your creativity and see your design used in the school library! All MBSS students are welcome to enter.
Two Categories for Entry
Two Categories for Entry
1) BEARS Acronym -- Your bookmark should showcase school pride and reflect one or more of these values:
B - Belonging
E - Empathy
A - Achievement
R - Resiliency
S - Safety
2) Open Category -- Design a bookmark on a topic of your choice

You can submit digitally or on paper — your choice!

Design your bookmark using Canva or any other digital tool
a) Ensure your bookmark measures 2 x 7 inches
b) You can use the blank digital template to the right or make your own (Download the PDF file and upload to your preferred tool)
c) Export or save your finished design as a PNG or PDF file
Submit your file to the MBSS Reading Contests Google Classroom

Pick up a blank paper bookmark template from the school library
Complete your design by hand using pencil, pen, pencil crayons or markers
Write your name, grade, and category
Hand in your completed bookmark to the library

Winners in each category will receive:
A Global Village drink coupon
The honour of seeing your design printed and used as a real bookmark in the MBSS library
Rules & Guidelines
Your design must be your own original work.
Bookmark size: 2 inches wide x 7 inches tall. Using the provided template helps ensure the right size.
Designs must be appropriate for a school setting
One entry per category per student (you may submit one BEARS Acronym and one Open Category)
You must be a current MBSS student to enter.
Include your full name and grade with your submission

Contest runs: Oct 1- Nov 6th
All bookmarks must be submitted by: Nov 6th
