The 5k is a 3.1 mile run around the neighborhood surrounding Sequoia and last year over 1,000 students participated in the run. This year will be the 32nd Annual 5k and the 15th Annual Activity Expo. Some of last year's booth's included the American Heart Association, Newbury Park Bike Shop, Revolution, Newbury Park Athletic Club, NPHS Track, and Conejo Valley Field Hockey. Each student that completes the run will receive a 5k t-shirt that they can wear during Physical Education the rest of the year.

If you are interested in helping with our special event, there are two ways you can do it.

1. Volunteering your time on the day of the event
2. Making a donation to the Sequoia 5k
