The Situation Room Experience
The Reagan Library's Situation Room Experience is an excellent opportunity for students to practice their leadership skills, and decision-making while having lots of fun! Simulation experiences are an excellent way to connect curriculum to the real world. Foundation of Education students examined the educational value of these types of experiences and how simulation can be used to enhance learners' engagement.
College Visits
An important aspect of CTE programs is help students become college AND career ready. We want our students making informed decisions for their life beyond high school. Therefore, it is a goal of the FEP program to expose students to different options. The schools we visit will likely alternate every other year, giving students opportunities to see different schools. Each year, we will visit Moorpark Community College, a CSU, a UC, and a private university. At each school, students receive a presentation from the education program offered.
