Introducing: Partnership Programs

The Partnership Program was built with the school community in mind. Partnership Programs allow LEAP and MS51 school clubs to bridge the gap between school and afterschool to provide your children with an unified experience.

LEAP@MS51 now provides a schedule with activities that runs along the schedules of the partnered school club, offering a flexible schedule for students who would like to remain a part of LEAP showcases, but still attend the school club of their choice.

LEGO ROBOTICS

Hosted by Ms. Ahn

The Lego Robotics Partnership Program focuses on problem solving and critical thinking through building robot models and coding it to solve a challenge.

Students who are interested in this program must seek permission from Ms. Ahn before registering.

This class operates on Tuesday / Thursday schedule from 3PM - 4:15PM.

HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM?

Students who are interested in the Specialty Programs must seek approval from the indicated Leads in the activity description & complete a LEAP Application - accessible here - and either email it to ms51k@leapnyc.org or leave the paper application in the LEAP mailbox in the MS51 Main Office.

Families will receive an email indicating the child's acceptance into the program.

Once the email is received, students must visit the LEAP Office, B21 to inform LEAP staff of their interest in the class.

ARE THERE LIMITED SEATS IN THE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM?

Every class will have their own seat limitations. Please check with our teaching staff to get the most accurate information.

WHAT IF I DIDNT GET INTO THE PARTNERSHIP PROGRAM?

Partnership Courses are do not follow our cycle schedule - students must check with the staff indicated for each class to register.

Students may still enroll into the After School Program and enjoy all that LEAP has to offer through the week.
