College & Career Center

Welcome to the College & Career Center!

The College & Career Center (CCC) is the hub of information for, well, college and career! We invite students to take advantage of the CCC between 8:00 AM - 4:10 PM, but we specifically offer these opportunities for students:

College Jump Start, a free opportunity for rising seniors in the summer. Each session meets 4 times. The session leader provides students the resources, guidance, and time to prepare college applications, in addition to valuable feedback!
College visits at VHS - see who is visiting and sign up to attend through the Colleges tab in Naviance; college representatives can book a visit to Vandegrift through RepVisits
Senior Workdays during PIT in the fall semester
Dual Credit resources and assistance
Resources on test prep, colleges & college planning, military, financial aid, job postings and career planning
Assistance with Naviance and other tools for college and career research

COLLEGE & CAREER TRANSITION COORDINATOR

Students can schedule a brief individual meeting with Ms. Kendall, the VHS College & Career Transition Coordinator, to discuss dual credit opportunities, ACC enrollment, the college application process, career exploration, and post-VHS plans.
