The College & Career Center (CCC) is the hub of information for college and career! We invite students to take advantage of the CCC (Room 1306, across from the library) between 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, but we specifically offer these opportunities for students:
College visits at VHS - see who is visiting and sign up to attend through the Colleges tab in Naviance (College representatives can book a visit to Vandegrift through RepVisits)
Senior Workdays during PIT for post-VHS prep & planning, sign up in the PIT portal
Dual Credit resources and assistance
College Jump Start, an opportunity for rising seniors in the summer. Each session meets 3 times, where the session leader provides students the resources, guidance, and time to prepare college applications, in addition to valuable feedback!
Resources on test prep, college planning, military, financial aid, job postings, and career planning
Assistance with Naviance and other tools for college and career research
Students can schedule a brief individual meeting with Ms. Kendall, the VHS College & Career Transition Coordinator, to discuss dual credit opportunities, ACC enrollment, the college application process, career exploration, and post-VHS plans.
