Follow these steps to enroll in ACC courses as a dual credit student. Be sure to verify important ACC dates & deadlines.
Complete steps 1-4 one time only.

Apply Online. Follow link for first time users.
Check your email for username (from ACC Admissions) and follow link to create password.
Under "Dual Credit" choose "Apply Now".

Your parent/ guardian must confirm your application- so be sure to enter their email address properly
Your application is complete when you Review & Confirm.
Receive an email with your ACCeID 24 hrs (weekdays) after submitting the application & your parent/guardian confirms via email (details about the parent/guardian email in the FAQs)
Follow steps to activate your ACCeID, establish password, and set security questions
Once ACCeID is established, use this link to activate your ACCemail

If your school device says "this account is not allowed to sign in within this network" - add a separate Chrome profile using your ACC gmail login information OR use the Microsoft Edge browser to access email
ACC/VHS Orientation: Watch the ACC/VHS Orientation video (30 minutes). It is STRONGLY recommended students & parents watch this together for full understanding.
Take the ACC Orientation Quiz. LOG IN HERE to take the quiz. Failure to take and pass the quiz will result in a hold on your account, preventing registration.

To demonstrate college readiness & enroll in dual credit you must have qualifying scores in one of the following: the TSI assessment, SAT, & ACT.
Determine if you need to take the TSI Assessment (see qualifying exemption scores). If exempt from testing, you may skip to Step 5.
If not exempt from existing SAT, ACT, or TSI scores, you will need to take the TSI assessment. Details here.
You can test at most ACC campuses Mondays-Fridays & select campuses on Saturdays. Submit your TSI results taken at ACC here
If you are unable to test at an ACC campus, there are limited dates available to test at VHS. This must be done before course requests are due
You must have this completed before the Step 5 advising meeting
Complete steps 5-7 each semester to be eligible for registration.
New students must have fully completed steps 1-4 first.
Both new and returning students must attend a group advising meeting, where we will review documents and course plans, as well as discuss the next steps!
