Students Taking Action for Mental Positivity

Do you feel...

If so, this is the right place for you. This program exists to help students feel included by others and to raise awareness for teen mental health.

What is STAMP?

Students Taking Action for Mental Positivity (STAMP) is a student-led program that focuses to create awareness for teenage mental health. This is a high-school program where students can get involved in raising awareness for the global issue of mental health and rising suicide rates, by being there for their fellow students and friends who are struggling. This program is student-led because the best way for students to feel belonging is by creating a connection with another teen they can relate to, who is there to support them whenever needed. Ultimately, it is to inform them that they are not alone nor the only ones experiencing challenges, such as bullying, depression, and feeling alienated. There are many different parts of the program that students can get involved in such as the positivity board, peer initiative, and presentations!

This program's focus is to raise awareness for teen mental health. That starts with getting teenagers involved, as each year, hundreds of teenagers lose their lives to anxiety, depression, and many other factors. This program’s goal is to bring teen suicide to a standstill and inform the world on the issue of teenage mental health.
