UT Butler School of Music: (Free and paid music events at UT) This renowned music school has hundreds of opportunities to see their students perform. Genres include vocal arts, orchestra, symphony, opera, jazz, world music, and many more. Each month there are dozens of free and low cost performances. Where else can you see a fully staged opera with jaw dropping vocals and a professional set for $20?
UT Visual Arts Center (Free and open to the public) (see website for dates/times) This student-run arts organization that presents an exhibition and series of public programs and museum-quality projects each school year. The Curatorial Fellows are PhD candidates in Art History.
