UT Butler School of Music: (Free and paid music events at UT) This renowned music school has hundreds of opportunities to see their students perform. Genres include vocal arts, orchestra, symphony, opera, jazz, world music, and many more. Each month there are dozens of free and low cost performances. Where else can you see a fully staged opera with jaw dropping vocals and a professional set for $20?
UT Visual Arts Center (Free and open to the public) (see website for dates/times) This student-run arts organization that presents an exhibition and series of public programs and museum-quality projects each school year. The Curatorial Fellows are PhD candidates in Art History.

Camp Invention is a weeklong, summer day camp for rising K–6 students filled with fun, hands-on STEM adventures, designed to spark creativity, build confidence and ignite a lifelong love for learning. We offer brand new curriculum each summer that is inspired by the inductees of the National Inventors Hall of Fame, so students learn from real-life role models as they are inspired to test the limits of their imagination. Students do projects like designing an innovative billboard boat, building their own DIY space rocket, teaming up with robotic capybaras, and creating a wearable device to protect their ideas. The camp is also staffed by middle school and high school students who attended the camp as youth and now are learning leadership skills.
