October 22: Vista Ridge Counselors visit 8th graders at Henry, through Social Studies classes, and deliver introductory "High School 101" lesson. Lesson available in 8th grade Google Classroom.
October 31: - November 15: Students will begin to draft their 4-Year High School plan, with assistance from 8th grade counselor. This step is only a plan and NOT actual course selection.
December (dates TBD): Students will enter courses, from their 4-year plan draft, into their online Naviance account.
January 15: All 8th grade students visit VRHS for a campus tour.
January 15: Middle School Parent night, hosted by Vista Ridge at the VRHS campus. *Start time TBD, please check the VRHS Counseling Services page for updates
February 3: Vista Ridge Counselors come to Henry and conduct one-on-one reviews of each students' 4-year plan. *Make-up date February 10
February 17 - March 13: 9th grade courses available to view in HAC
March 12th: Last day to make course request changes for 9th grade.
